   Life is nothing more than our perception of it. I learned at a very early age that we live in the moment, we can plan for the future but we live in the moment. It is our mental and physical state that gives us our perception of that moment and our environment around us. At one point in my life I went through extensive mental and physical growth. I can tell you that the examples that you give are all important. Some use full and some useless, you chose. The practices you give for example are not to be attended they are to be part of ones life. In whole or in part. Why we do things and the reasons for them are questions you must answer for yourself. I can tell you what I practice and maybe this will also become part of you. Happiness is in the journey not in what you find at the end of the road. The greatest successes are in the eye of the beholder not in the perceptions of others. Ex: One of the most successful men I ever met was a man who lived in the heart of the Mexican jungle. He had his wife, two children, a two bedroom hut, a nearby stream, food to hunt and pick, and a small banana tree patch to tend. There are no successes in life, there are no failures, there is no best, there is no worst, there is no judgement there is only you and only me. Reiki sounds good about right now.
